Green Key is the world's leading eco-label for hotels, hostels, campsites, restaurants and conference centers, with a presence in 65 countries.
The Green Key Quality Label is awarded annually to tourism companies that adopt special environmental and environmentally friendly practices, such as:
- the implementation of environmental planning,
- informing and raising awareness of customers about environmentally friendly options,
- staff training on environmental issues and practices,
- the use of "green" operating methods to make more efficient use of energy and material resources, etc.
The Green Key is also a scoring criterion for hotels and their classification in star category (Government Gazette 10 B / 216/2015).
